S.T.A.R. Labs (Scientific and Technological Advanced Research Laboratories), is a research and development company primarily located in Central City. It's greatest and most notable innovation: a next-gen particle accelerator inadvertently released a massive dark matter wave that created numerous Meta-humans. Its facilities since the accident are for the most part defunct and the rest of them formerly serve as a metahuman prison and currently as a base of operations for Team Flash.
