Malcolm Merlyn (born 1837) is the father of Thea Queen and Tommy Merlyn.
Biography[]
Malcolm Merlyn was born in 1837. He married Rebecca Merlyn with whom he had a son Tommy Merlyn. In 1871, Rebecca was killed by an outlaw. Malcolm had a brief affair with Moira, conceiving Thea. Malcolm became obsessed with Moira.
In 1872, Malcolm tracked down the outlaw he believed had killed Rebecca and killed him. He then travelled to Nanda Parbat and joined the League of Assassins for two years, training under Al Owal.
In 1884, Malcolm had the Queen's Gambit sank.
In 1888, Malcolm went to London where he murdered five prostitutes that reminded him of Moira, earning him the name Jack the Ripper.
