"I came from an Earth that was ruled under Leon Trotsky, my Leon Trotsky, not yours... My family, including my sister, were a military family. My adoptive father was a soldier and my mom was an ordinary cook. My sister and I were, strangely, normal but it wasn't easy. Life was dark as both of my parents died when we were both 15, leaving no one to help us until I discovered my powers. Afterward, I survived by doing what my father did and became a soldier for the Soviets and for a while... it was calm. Then one day, I met someone that changed my life. His name was Lar Gand but many people called him, 'Mon' and Mon was just like me, special. We planned to leave America, go somewhere recluse, somewhere they won't find us but... he never got the chance to plan as someone told our plan and... Mon was killed. (...) The prison was hell, it felt like I couldn't move at all like I was being held down by something heavy. Something that would've killed me but didn't but it hurt... I would've died if it wasn't for my sister as she managed to escape me from that hell but at the cost of her life. She died because of me... because she sacrificed herself for me... If I could take it all back, I would rather her escape than me. (...) Alexi, Alexi Volkovanova but she would be called Alex for the most part."

Kara (Russian:Кара / Красная Дочь) is a Kryptonian Soviet Union Military General. She was born on the planet of Krypton and landed on Communist Earth and later adopted by a Soviet family. When she became an adult, she became a member of the Soviet Union military and soon became a general. She soon fell in love with her with a Daxamian soldier, Mon but he was soon killed by the USSR under Leon Trotsky's order and put under arrest. She soon escaped the prison after her adoptive sister, Alex, sacrificed her life to help her escape.

Through unknown means, she managed to escape to Earth-115 where she soon joined up with the Legends.

• Although unconfirmed, it's possible she might be based on Earth-30's Red Son Superman character.
• She has been shown to be similar to Earth-1's Red Daughter minus the villainous intent.
