Each cluster is structured like an ancient code, forming a self-sustaining pattern that constantly generates his personal magic and sends it through blood vessels to permeate his tissues and organs, effectively making him a living battery. These nodes strengthen much like muscle fibers, growing more efficient through repeated straining, but overexertion comes at a cost, leading to symptoms like weakness, nosebleeds, and even fainting. With consistent use, his body adapts to the pressure by producing proteins that increase both his magical capacity and throughput. However, his output remains naturally limited; much like water through a narrow bottleneck, it is finite in both the total amount stored and the rate at which it can be released. In this way, his magical growth mirrors the process of muscle hypertrophy, where exercise over time builds strength and endurance. Emotion plays a big role in influencing his magic, with feelings such as love, rage, fear, despair, euphoria, and passion acting as powerful motivators or deterrents. Rage is the most volatile, fueling raw bursts of destruction but making control difficult. Fear triggers his subconscious to take over, leading to instinctual magic and unintended effects. Despair tends to drain his magic faster and allows a quiet all-consuming hunger to rise. In contrast, euphoria seems to sharpen his focus and control, aligning his magic to brighter sources, less gloomy sources. Additionally, adrenaline surges temporarily boost his available output, for sudden flares of strength. Since his magic is tied to both his body and spirit, physical trauma and especially sudden harm or intense pain, can cause magical “hemorrhaging,” releasing energy akin to bleeding. Upon death, his body would act as a release vessel for a massive discharge of power that could be absorbed by someone else.
