Barry Allen is a former scientist at the Central City Police Department in the Criminal and Forensic Science Division and is the son of Henry Allen and Nora Allen, the twin brother of Malcolm Thawne, the foster son of Joe West and the foster sister/best friend of Iris West, who he marries years later. He became the Flash after getting caught in a particle accelerator explosion at S.T.A.R. Labs. Unlike Earth One's Barry, he mostly works as The Flash by himself, figuring out how to defeat his opponents himself.

  • Speed Force Connection/Meta-human physiology: Barry possesses a natural connection to the Speed Force, allowing him to perform physical feats beyond human capabilities.
  • Accelerated healing factor: Barry is able to heal injuries at incredible speeds much faster than regular humans.
  • Electrokinesis: Barry can produce yellow electricity from his body, which can most commonly be seen when he is running at high speeds and can use it in many ways.
  • Accelerated perception: Barry's speed extends to his senses and mental capacity, allowing himself to quickly take information and process it faster than humans, as well as hearing and seeing clearly when moving at high speeds.
  • Enhanced strength: Barry possesses sufficiently enhanced strength, allowing himself to carry people with one hand above his head.
  • Speed force sense: Barry can sense other speedsters at any place and time across any dimension.
  • Superhuman agility: Barry has flawless coordination, equilibrium and dexterity. He can take immediate sharp turns without sliding or losing his balance. He can jump and run across falling debris and is able to launch himself to tremendous distances with little build-up.
  • Superhuman durability: Barry possesses resistance to injury, where he is able to take attacks and exertion much easier than humans and is able to survive impacts that would kill or harm humans.
  • Superhuman speed: Barry can use superhuman speed where he appears swift enough to rival his doppelganger from Earth One. His full limits of his powers aren't currently known to him.
    • Aerokinesis: Barry can use his speed to generate air flow as vacuums on varied levels. He can use this power to create vortexes to suffocate people or extinguish fires by using it to form around them.
    • Bodily vibration/Intangibility: Barry can vibrate different body parts for varied effects. If he vibrates his entire body, he can mask himself from being clearly perceived and distort his vocal cords to disguise his voice, where he is able to hide his identity to his loved ones and friends. He can also generate massive amounts of heat to recover from injuries or be kept thermally from extreme cold. He can also vibrate cells in his body to pass through people or objects unharmed.
    • Time travel/Chronokinesis: Barry can use the Speed Force to conduct chronokinesis, or as it is known to himself, temporal manipulation, which allows him to travel throughout time. He is able to freely travel through time, although he knows the costs of time travel after learning of his doppelganger's manipulation of the timeline on Earth One.
    • Interdimensional travel: Barry is capable of running at high speeds to break open portals between dimensions, allowing him to travel to different universes in the multiverse.
    • Superhuman momentum: Barry can generate massive amounts of physical force via kinetic energy, simulating superhuman strength, even when he is in a stationary position. He can propel himself high through the air and create substantial frictional force with any objects he comes across. His speed allows him to channel the force into powerful strikes, which can propel targets several feet.
    • Superhuman reflexes: Barry's reflexes are enhanced to superhuman levels, allowing himself to easily react to dangerous situations and dodge projectiles or strikes.
  • Superhuman stamina: Barry can handle the stresses of racing without distress, allowing him to function more than normal humans unhindered. His enhanced stamina is due to his augmented physiology, which builds up to little lactic acids or fatigue toxins.

Abilities[]

  • Expert scientist/Forensics expert: Barry is a highly trained forensics examiner, where at a single glance at a crime scene, he can determine events that transpired. He is also been able to quickly analyze any given data and develop accurate theories on given situations repeatedly.
  • Genius level intellect/Skilled tactician: Barry is a keen minded individual, where at a young age, he was able to show he had a natural understanding and quick capacity to learn. He is also a capable tactician.
  • Physics/Chemistry expert: Barry's knowledge in physics and chemistry is advanced, as he was able to apply himself to newfound science and figure out major differences between the multiverses he visited.
  • Skilled hand-to-hand combatant: As being trained by Bruce Wayne, Barry is able to use his unarmed combat knowledge with his superhuman speed and reflexes, also combining both with his intellect, which makes him a formidable opponent in battles.
  • Speed force knowledge: Barry has great knowledge of the Speed Force and it's usage. He can use it in combat fluently, instantly use advanced abilities and likewise, improve his natural performance for longer durations unhindered.

Weaknesses[]

  • Cold temperatures: Because speed is produced by built up by heat in the target's atoms, Barry is vulnerable to extreme cold temperatures. While under these conditions, Barry's speed will become greatly reduced. Also, direct exposure to such cold will stunt his healing capacity.

Equipment[]

  • Earpieces: On his cowl, Barry installed some lightning bolt shaped earpieces on his suit to listen into radio communications from any signals. Barry can manually turn off the device.
  • The Flash ring: Barry built a ring with the Flash lightning bolt symbol on it. The ring allows him to hide his costume inside. When in use, the suit will spring out from the top of the ring, allowing him to change with his super speed and always have the costume ready to wear.
  • The Flash suit: Barry wears a protective suit as The Flash, allowing him to conceal his identity to other people while fighting crime.
